Fees
Our fees from September 2024:
£8.00 per hour for children over the age of 3 (£24.00 per 3 hour session)
£8.75 per hour for children under 3 (£26.25 per 3 hour session)
All parents are charged an additional £15.00 per month (per child) to help cover the costs of snacks, cooking and extra curricular activities. This is a fixed price regardless of how many hours/days your child attends.
Invoices are raised during the first week of each month and payment is required within 14 days.
Funding
Children aged 3 and over are eligible to receive government funding to cover the fees for 15 hours a week. This includes any sessions that are taken at other nurseries or Pre-Schools. Children are able to access their free sessions as follows:-

At Tilehouse Street we provide the following support.
From September 2024
15 hours childcare support will be offered to eligible working parents of children from the age of 2 Years to 3-year-olds. (subject to availability)
15 hours childcare in offered for Supported funding for children aged 2-3 years old (please see below for criteria)
From September 2025
Eligible working parents of children from 2 years to school age will be entitled to 30 hours of childcare a week. (subject to availability) These hours can be used over 38 weeks of the year (during school term time)
Children may be entitled to 30 funded hours subject to parents meeting the relevant eligibility criteria. Full details can be found via the Childcare Choices website at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. 30 hour places are subject to availability and, as with all sessions, offered on a first come, first served basis.
Funding for 2 year Olds
Your 2-year-old can get free childcare if you live in England and get one of the following benefits:
- Income Support
- income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Universal Credit, and your household income is £15,400 a year or less after tax, not including benefit payments
- tax credits, and your household income is £16,190 a year or less before tax
- the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
- the Working Tax Credit 4-week run on (the payment you get when you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit.
- Free 2 year funding for working parents comes into effect from April 2023. Please check eligibility through the local authority website.
2-year-olds can also get free childcare if they:
- are looked after by a local authority
- have a statement of special education needs (SEN) or an education, health and care (EHC) plan
- get Disability Living Allowance
- have left care under an adoption order, special guardianship order or a child arrangements order
